VR Storytelling Workshop @ University of Skövde

Producing a Shortfilm in a Simulated Space

Two intense days. 14 hours of workshop online. 14 students from game design program.
The workshop consisted in a theoretical approach to immersive storytelling, to move towards VR language, and conclude with the production of a short film in a simulated space.

The students worked on the concept based on a previous prompt and developed a storyboard to shoot a short film entirely in a social VR platform, in this case we used Mozilla Hubs.
Afterwards, they chose a 3D scene, created their avatars, performed, shot and made minor video editing.

I was honored by Prof. Rebecca Rouse for offering me the opportunity of working with highly talented storytellers.
