What Would an Artist Do?
TRANSMEDIA ART EXHIBITION
The WHAT WOULD AN ARTIST DO? Exhibition opened at the Ceramics Museum in Mondovì, dedicated to the unusual artistic-existential approach adopted in Bogotà by Antanas Mockus and Nijolė Šivickas.
Emigrated from Lithuania to Colombia in 1950, Nijolė Šivickas, starting from the art of ceramics, transmitted to the son unusual and extremely innovative instruments in contemporary and performative art, which Antanas Mockus put into practice, as Mayor of the Colombian capital, involving eight million citizens.
Through 4 screens, 1 video installation, 1 virtual reality station and 1 block of clay to manipulate to get closer to the Atelier of Nijole, the interactive and multimedia exhibition brings to the stage an example of almost unique artistic action.
